How Does It Work?

Educators create and submit proposals, outlining ideas for professional and personal growth, and the organization selects a limited number of proposals each year for financial awards/fellowships of varying amounts, up to $5000 for an individual or $10,000 for a team. Several criteria are taken into consideration, and one application may be submitted each grant year. Fellowships take place during the Summer.

Who Is Eligible?

The applicant must teach in a Pre K-12 setting, be employed in an eligible school district, have 3 years classroom experience, be a full time teacher in a classroom setting 50% or more of the time and intend to return to the institution the following year. Fellowship recipients may apply once every 5 years. Get the complete list of requirements and current information on the FFT website.
