Use Your Words…

Here’s what I think is needed in tandem kayaking…. 1) a “job description” and 2) a glossary of words that two people in a kayak have in common. Sean and I went Kayaking in our tandem kayak for the first time last week. We took it out to a nearby lake, and had a terrific adventure. We laughed and learned a lot, and came home worn out.

If you are the sort who enjoys adventure, competition and the outdoors, then an adventure/endurance race might just be your thing. There’s one coming up soon that is particularly interesting, and I wish I could participate. It’s called the Ozark Greenways Adventure Race. What’s really great about this race? Orienteering, trekking, mountain biking, running and paddling all in one race. What’s more, the distances are kept secret until the start. How intriguing…
